Kamehameha Schools provided the money and expertise needed to create these Open Access (free to users) e-book and audio book editions of Broken Trust. The trustees did this to “recognize and honor the dedication and courage of the people involved in our lāhui during that period of time and to acknowledge this significant period in our history.” They also wanted to help make Broken Trust “openly available to students, today and in the future, so that the lessons learned might continue to make us healthier as an organization and as a community.”
King and Roth assigned all Broken Trust royalties to local charities.
