This is a four-minute KSSK radio segment from November 27, 1997, not a Price of Paradise broadcast. The KSSK host calls Gladys Brandt, former principal of Kamehameha Schools and co-author of the Broken Trust II essay, immediately after an interview with Bishop Estate trustee Lokelani Lindsey, the day after the essay appeared in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin. Brandt describes Kamehameha Schools as a "treasured gift" and says its condition "pains" her. She asks for the matter to go before the Attorney General under oath, and when asked whether she stands by her sources, answers "absolutely." An attempt to connect Brandt and Lindsey on air fails. The segment closes with Brandt extending Christmas goodwill to Lindsey before the host pivots to "Winter Wonderland."
